At age 76, Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament seems too old to the extent that he could not identify people.
Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye was re-appointed by the NPP as Speaker of the 8th Parliament. He has been Speaker since 2017.
However, a new video has popped up on social media where the speaker could not walk majestically, as he is being assisted by people around him.
The question people seems to be asking is – Why has he been re-appointed to serve as Speaker at his old age whilst young and energetic people are there.

As weak as he is, they still maintained him as their speaker of parliament. This is to juxtapose that, the entire machinery is as weak as the man.
