Lawyer Andrew Amoako Assiamah has declared his stance for the NPP in a video going viral on social media.
The incumbent MP for the Fomena Constituency is fast trending on Twitter after he became the decider of the Parliamentary majority.
The now, independent legislator was sacked from Parliament weeks to the General elections when he made the decision to contest as an independent candidate.
However, days after the elections, as NPP struggles to make the majority in Parliament, their hopes now rest on the astute lawyer who came atop of the parliamentary race in the Fomena Constituency. He beats the NPP contender with 2,007 votes making him the only independent MP-elect in the Ashanti Region.
Meanwhile, according to some sources, both NPP and NDC have 137 constituencies, where the Andrew Assiamah will be the decider.
Others news outlets have reported that NPP is leading with 137 constituencies as against 135 constituencies for the NDC.
As a result, it is now crucial for the NPP as their hopes rest on Lawyer Amoako to give them the majority.
