President Akufo Addo appoints a 15-member transition team

President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has appointed his 15-member transition team a day after he was declared winner of the 2020 general election.

Ghanaians went to the polls on Dec.7th to elect Nana Akufo Addo for another term in office.

As the law demands, the President shall constitute the membership of the Transition Team within 24 hours of declaration of results of the presidential election by the EC.

In a Press statement signed by the Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin, the President has designated 15 persons to serve as members of the Transition team headed by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare with members; Ken Ofori-Atta, Osafo Maafo, Ambrose Dery, Hajia Alima Mahama, among other cabinet ministers.
