Nana Addo responds to Sarkodie’s ‘Happy Day’ song; Sarkodie later comes back to warn him

Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie has been trending after releasing his song ‘Happy Day’.

Award-winning rapper has declared his support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (N.P.P) in a new song.

The song, titled “Happy day” features Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene.

In the song, Sarkodie states that when “Dumsor” happened a couple of years ago, he criticised it strongly. He also added that he complained about inflation.

However, if a political party has been able to come and solve this issue, then he thinks they should be given the mandate to continue.

“When there was dumsor and inflation, I talked about it. But if today I have uninterrupted electricity and my children will get the chance to go to school for free, then I have nothing to say but to ask Nana to continue (toaso),” he raps in the song.

Reacting to the song, President Akufo Addo wrote on Twitter “Nice Song”.
