The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has alleged that Martin Amidu is a chronic weed smoker.
Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has launched a recent attack on the resigned special prosecutor, Martin Amidu.
Martin Barnes Kaiser Amidu resigned as a special prosecutor on November 16, 2020. Following his resignation, there has been a lot of hearsays concerning the actual reason why he resigned.
But, he has officially wrote what basically influenced his decision to resign from the post. Explaining from his statement, he thinks that the President has not done enough to safeguard his office’s independence.
Meanwhile, Wontumi contrastingly said on his television slamming the resigned special prosecutor. ”Do you know that Martin Amidu is a weed smoker?, Oh I can prove it if you want me to. This is Wontumi talking”. he said confidently”.
