At least 6 people have been reported dead in a terrific accident in Ejura Sekyeredumase on Saturday. 50 other persons have sustained various degrees of injury, according to inside reports.
NDC supporters were travelling to meet former President Mahama on his campaign trail in the Ashanti Region, according to confirmed reports.
The accident reportedly happened when the bus carrying the supporters were crossed by a motor cycle resulting in the driver loosing control.
However, the 6 people who died have been conveyed to the nearest hospital as others have been receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, former President John Mahama led a team of people visit the Ejura Government Hospital to assess the situation at first hand.
