The flagbearer of the leading opposition party in Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has explained why he won’t rely on celebrities in his 2020 campaign.
According to the former President, involving celebrities in your campaign lead to a distraction in their career as his or her followers may be divided after endorsing a political party.
However, NDC’s presidential candidate stated that he has no problem with Samini, Sarkodie and others doing music for Nana Addo or endorsing him.
John Mahama further explained that there is a difference between doing music for a political party and endorsing a political party but our system have made it look the same.
