The cause of NPP’s parliamentary lose has come as a surprise to the party as the nation approach inauguration day early next year.
Nana Akufo Addo was declared as the winner of the 2020 elections, amid all the tension that arose from the results collation.
The opposition NDC has announced that, they will not accept the outcome of the results as declared by the EC. They have cited some infractions in the counting and collation in some constituencies.
However, the NPP who have won the elections are still not so happy due the the number of seats the party lost in the parliamentary elections. Another point they are not happy about is the series of protest taken place across the length and breadth of the country.
Some NPP youths have called on some top NPP executives to resign. Some have also called on the President to sack under performing MMDCEs.
Meanwhile, a senior Member of NPP, who is based in Belgium has levelled some allegations against the party executives including John Boadu (Gen. Secretary), Sammy Awuku(National Organiser) and Kate Gyamfua (Women Organiser)
According to him, the party executives and some MMDCEs did not help the party and its flagbearer.
He made several allegations against Sammy Awuku, his wife, John Boadu, Akufo Addo’s family and more.
