COVID-19: New Edubiase’s Adams Salam donates Nose Masks, Veronica Buckets and more to Constituents

10/05/2020

NDC Parliamentary Candidate for New Edubiase Constituency, Adams Abdul-Salam has donated 3000 Nose Masks and 100 Veronica Buckets to his constituents to help in the fight against COVID-19.

With the fast rise of Coronavirus cases in the Ashanti region, Adams Salam and his team decided to create an opportunity for people to get access to these items in order to lower the spread of the deadly virus in the constituency.

Speaking to Vibeweek.com, Adams Salam emphasized the need to make resources available to people in the rural communities who are the most vulnerable.

He said given the nature of the crisis, all hands should be on deck; all available tools should be used in the fight against the pandemic.

We should all provide support, as much as we can, so that from the household to the larger communities, people can access resources needed to prevent the spread of the virus.” He told Vibeweek.com.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time, he had made such a donation. In the early face of the pandemic, he made 3000 Hand Sanitizers available to his constituents, emboldening the fact he has a strong heart for his people.

Adams Salam had an overwhelming endorsement from his party during their Parliamentary Primaries in August 2019, becoming the youngest person to be on the ticket of the NDC in the constituency.
