With the choice of running mate for John Mahama still in limbo, there is one person who wants this position more than anybody in the top hierarchy of the Party.
General Secretary, Asiedu Nketiah has publicly declared his intention to become the running mate for his flagbearer more than once.
In an interview with Yaa Konamah on UTV ‘ Adekye Nsroma‘, General Mosquito as he is affectionately called revealed once again, he wants that position.
However, he argued that even though he is part of the National Executive Committee of the NDC, he will not destruct the process of choosing a running mate for his party if the Flagbearer names him or anybody else.
Touching on why the NDC has taken so long to name a running mate and also their inability to get someone from the party. He argued that the NDC has never announced a running mate a year prior to general elections. He further asked why this has been a burden to other political parties and even the media.
“I do not know why the media is also supporting what the political parties are asking. As a matter of fact, the NDC are the first political party to name our Flagbearer. Tell us which other Party has done this as at now“
