It was absolutely clear with no uncertain terms the Fomena MP, Andrew Amoako Assiamah will be given a huge appointment in Akufo Addo’s next administration.
Reports were rift on vibeweek.com that NPP promised the astute lawyer with a huge position in government to make him go public with his decision to join the NPP.
However, reports we have gathered indicates that the plan will be changed.
According to an investigation made with regards to which role Lawyer Assiamah will be posited in the Akufo Addo government, we found out that he will not be given a huge position in the next administration.
Our sources indicated that Akufo Addo has a lot of names on the table now, submitted by the party and is currently being vetted by the a team headed by Senior Minister. Osafo Marfo and the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare.
So what is really inhibiting his chances to be appointed as Minister.
Meanwhile, Lawyer Assiamah is a Surveyor by profession and a member of the Lands and Natural Resources Committee of Parliament. He is well qualified to fit into the role of Minister of Lands and Natural Resources with his experience in government.
His influence in the party should be intensified now that NPP needs him so much. His public utterances to join the NPP again is not binding and therefore he can change his mind.
