Afrochella Founder, Abdul Karim Abdullah, has said 750,000 Visas have been issued to visit Ghana from the US.
He made this statement when he appeared on New York’s Number 1 Hiphop Show, Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97.
The Founder & CEO was on the show to spread the vibe about one of the Biggest Pan-African Music and Arts Festival, what to expect at this years show and what makes it so special to attend.
To clarify a statement Ebro made, that 70,000 Visas has been issued to visit Ghana in 2019, Abdul Karim stated “No that was Last Year, 2018. Compared to this year, in 2019, 750,000…so it’s actually 800% increase in the amount of visas of people coming to Ghana this year”
Eventhough, Afrochella is expected to host a minimum of 15,000 attendant this year, but the increase in the number of visas from the US to Ghana is attributed to the clarion call amplified by the Year of Return Agenda for 2019 by the Tourism Ministry.
The Afrochella Music Festival is scheduled for December 28th at the El- Wak Sports Stadium.
