Husband of NPP MP, Ursula Owusu is reported to be unhappy after his wife was captured sitting on the laps of a male MP in Parliament.

This happened during a brawl in the parliamentary chamber between the NPP and NDC to elect a new Speaker for the 8th Parliament.

According to reports, his husband Dr Samuel Owusu Ekuful, whom she married in 2013, seems not to be happy with the fact that his wife could go to the extent of sitting on someone’s husband publicly.

However, this incident did not happen in a vaccum, but came up because the NDC MP was probably sitting on a chair that is supposed to belong to her. Ursula who felt angry, decided to pour out her anger on the NDC MP by sitting on his lap, not for romantic purposes.

The video of the incident has gone viral, springing a whole lot of mixed reactions from Ghanaians.

The incident has been widely covered by International media platforms.

Linda Ikeji, a popular Nigerian blogger, covered the story this way.
