Tottenham eliminate Man City, Liverpool thrashed Porto to reach Champions League Semi-finals

Sterling goal disallowed by VAR and Tottenham Hotspur edge past Manchester City, Liverpool were clinical against Porto to reach semi-final.


Tottenham surpassed Man City to reach their median Champions league semi-finals spot. Match was ended 4-4 on aggregate and Tottenham reached semi-finals on away goals.


Fernando Llorente’s goal gave Mauricio Pochettino’s side victory on away goals.
Sterling 93rd minute goal was cancelled by VAR ruling that Aguero was in an offside position as Bernardo Silva diverted the ball into his path.


Spurs will face Ajax at the semi-final which will be their first ever Champions League semi-final.


Porto vs Liverpool
Liverpool reached the semi-final for a second time in a row after defeating Porto 1-6 goals on aggregate.


With already 2 goals advantage at Anfield in the first leg last week, Liverpool thrashed Porto at their home in a style where Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, substitute Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk among the goals.


Liverpool will face Barcelona in the semi-final encounter.
