Dancehall Artist, Shatta Wale has blasted ‘Sub zero’ rapper Sarkodie for releasing a diss song amid a period where people are dying from Coronavirus worldwide.
Ghana has recorded more than 200 cases of COVID-19 so far, as 5 people have been reported dead.
However, Sarkodie has dropped a diss song ‘Sub-zero’ that is targeted at Shatta Wale and some of the rappers who have threw shot at him.
In the song ‘Sub Zero’ Sarkodie refered to himself as ‘Jesus’, emboldening himself as the biggest in the game.
Reacting to the’Sub Zero’, Shatta Wale told TV3, on their Tuesday Edition of New day that, this is not time for the BET Award winner to release a diss song as people are dying.
“I don’t know why Sarkodie will throw a shot at me at this time of our lifes where people are dying…Rap? The older men don’t even listen to rap. They want to hear highlife and more. Rap will not stand the test of time. i don’t want to blame him, I blame people like Reggie Rockstone for bringing rap to Ghana” Shatta Wale angrily stated.
