Every year, Ghana’s most relevant music makers share their creativity in their various masterful pieces to thrill fans across board. 2019 is of no exception.

2019 has been one of the most musicial years in our history with a lot of coolest music coming out of the hottest music destination in Africa, Ghana.

The impact of Afrobeats has also added some flavor to the melodies employed in the various bangers out of Ghana this year.

Shatta Wale has been working alone in most of his songs including this one he calls ‘Melissa’ produced by his in-house producer, and himself. The song received a lot of airplay in Ghana and abroad with its solid instrumentation and lyrics composition. Melissa was number one song dominating on independent radio charts in Ghana and abroad. ‘Ohemaa’ by Kuami Eugene

He has been the fastest rising music star out of Ghana. His ‘Ohemaa’ dominated charts across board both in Ghana and Nigeria. ‘Ohemaa’ was written by Kuami Eugene and his colleague ‘Kidi’ who was a guest on the song and the first time they have made a song together. The song was produced by MOG Beatz.

‘Saara’ by Sarkodie

Sarkodie released this song ‘Saara’ with vocal goddess, Efya as a single on his upcoming album ‘Blacklove’. The song was produced by MOG Beatz who worked on most of the singles on the album. ‘Saara’ is still dominating music charts in Ghana and Abroad.

Stevie Wonder’ by Wendy Shay

This has been one of the most patronized Wendy shay songs in 2019, probably the first time she collaborated with Shatta Wale. The song peaked at Number 1 across most independent radio charts in Ghana. It has over a 2 Million views on Youtube alone and have great numbers on most streaming platforms.

‘Already’ by Beyonce (Feat. Shatta Wale)
