Nigerian prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, simply known as T.B. Joshua, has suggested that the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) will soon go away.

According to Joshua who is the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), COVID-19 will unannounced just like the way it came.

The world has been hit with the COVID-19, a zoonotic disease with flu-like symptoms that has been claiming the lives of people around the globe.

After breaking out in China, the disease has spread into many other countries and it is on all continents of the world now. Already, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic as scientists search for a cure.

But in his latest sermon, T.B. Joshua has stated the disease will not go away by the power of medicine because it was not medicine that brought it.

Going very definite, T.B, Joshua declared March 27, 2020, as the date that the pandemic which has brought fear to the world will go away.

“I came out at the beginning of this year saying lat year will end in March and the year will continue to be very very fearful till this month [March].

“This month 27th, it will be over. By the end of this month, whether we like it or not – no matter the medicine they might have produced to cure whatever, it will go the way it came.

“If it is not medician that brought this to the world, medicine cannot take it out. It will go the way it came,” he said to much applause from the congregation.

T.B Joshua’s claims come after Ghana Health Service’s Public Health Director Dr Badu Sarkodie revealed that four new cases have been confirmed bringing the total number of cases to six.

Meanwhile, the government has placed a ban on travellers from countries with 200 or more Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.

The travel ban was announced by Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at a press briefing on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

The ban forms part of control measures after Ghana’s number of COVID-19 cases rose from two to six within three days.
