Social Media, especially facebook users have heavily come at Afia Pokua after the President disclosed the health ministers COVID-19 status.
The Journalist on his Facebook page revealed that the Health Minister has confirmed to her, he is only resting and has not contracted COVID-19, contradicting a news report that had earlier come out about Kwaku Agyemang Manu that said he is positive.
However, with the President’s message to Ghanaians on Sunday night, Akufo Addo confirmed his Cabinet Minister’s COVID-19 Status as positive. This awaken numerous bashing from facebook users on the UTV News Anchor.
Kaakyire Kofi Yeboah for instance said; “Wo pre dodo Afia Pokuaa” as Frank Assiamah said “As a journalist, u Dey Rush saaa, u think you are the first person to side chick a minister.
Chale we tire you people“.
Hadel Abdulai, however, came with a point that suggest the health minister also lied. “So Nana Addo confirmed that the Health Minister has coronavirus when he said he didn’t have anything but was just resting at the hospital?“
Meanwhile others think Afia Pokuaa was only doing her job, looking at Ofa Yaw Surprise’s comment.
Meanwhile, Afia Pokuaa has not come out to explain her side of the story.
