07/01/2021

Senior Member of the ruling NPP, Stephen Asamoah Boateng a.k.a Asabee has condemned snatching of ballot papers by Tema West MP, Carlos Ahenkorah.

According to Asabee, the snatching of ballot papers during counting of votes for the Speaker position in the Parliament early hours of Thursday, was not an act to endorse.

In an interview on Joy News, he condemned the act by party member without fear or favour.

“I don’t think snatching of ballot papers was neccesary at this point. I also think the MP for Assin North should not have come to the house at all, else it sends a bad signal”.
