Shatta Wale competes Stonebwoy in Top Jamaica Award

Two of Ghana’s Proudest Musicians, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been nominated in the IRAWMA Awards in Jamaica.

Both Artistes compete in one of the highly contested Categories, Best African Dancehall Entertainer with Burna Boy, PatoRanking and Epixode.

The IRAWMA: International Reggae and World Music Awards seeks to honor the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists, including: songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians.

The Event was launched 38 years ago.

In its 37th year, Shatta Wale won the Best Music Video with his hit song ‘Gringo’ directed by Nigerian Filmmaker, Sesan. He also won the Best Afrobeats Entertainer Award in the 2019 Edition.

The IRAWMA has also acknowledged Stonebwoy’s feature on Morgan Heritage’s ‘Africa and Jamaica’ in their 37th Year.

However, in its 38 years of existence, Stonebwoy and his Ghanaian Brother, Shatta Wale have been nominated in a very competitive category.
