Ghanaian Dancehall icon, Shatta Wale is making waves as he leads the list of most streamed artists in Ghana compiled by Billboard.
According the Billboard, the list was compiled particularly from YouTube videos. Shatta Wale topped the list with 13.26 Million views, with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Kofi kinaata placing 2nd, 3rd and 5th respectively.
Gospel singer diana Hamilton also came 4th position as the only female and Gospel musician to enter the top 5.
Shatta Wale was also recognized by his recent Faith virtual Concert to cheer up fans during Covid-19 pandemic and the success of his Reign album after making it on Billboard top 10.
In detailed, Shatta Wale has the most views from music fans within Ghana but not globally as specified by Billboard.
Meanwhile, no Ghanaian artist made it in the list of top 15 most streamed Sub saharan African artists list.
