Kintampo Waterfalls Tragedy
It will be recalled that about 20 people mainly high school students died after a large tree fell on them at a popular water spot in Kintampo.
According to Kyeremankohene of Kintampo, Nana Effa Guakro, the cause of the tragic incident was due to excessive sexual activity at the Kintampo waterfalls site, something he claimed angered the river gods and led to the death of 20 students while others sustained various degrees of injury.
He said the site was a favorite venue for students to carry out bad acts such as having sex after numerous warnings to desist from such acts since it angers the gods.
