The 5th Annual Soundcity MVP Awards Festival will be held in January 11, 2020 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, as proudly powered by Soundcity TV and Soundcity Radio Networks.
The Awards as presented to hardest working talents across Africa was first held in 2016 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, Nigeria.
This year, most of the popular Ghanaian Acts made it to the nominees list. They include; Shatta Wale who got nomination for the coveted award ‘African Artist of the Year’, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Medikal, Wendy Shay, MOG Beatz, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Vyrusky, and the twin singers, Dopenation.
Eventhough Nigerian Artist dominated the lists but Ghanaian Acts have been represented largely as far as this edition is concerned as well as South African and Tanzanian Artists.
