The 3rd Edition of the 3Music Awards is expected to happen on the 28th of March at the Fantasy Dome, Accra.
As part of the main event, the nominees announcement took place at the Gold Coast Restaurant and Bar, Cantonment, 50 metres from Club Onyx and Reggie Rockstone’s office.
Ghana’s Most Decorated Rapper, Sarkodie lead the pack with 12 nominations including Music Man of the Year and Song of the Year.
With over 28 Categories making up the 2020 edition, top Artistes such as Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Medikal also dominated the list with 10, 10 and 9 nods respectively.
However, Quamina MP’s song ‘Amanfour Girls’ was the biggest snub of the night as the club banger did not find it way into either song of the year,Hiplife Song of the year or Viral Song of the Year.
Fans and Industry folks were worried as to why the song did not make it in any of the categories as it was one of the most popular songs of 2019.
