DJ Mensah and Sarkodie have been working for close to a decade now, probably since Sarkodie’s breakthrough in the music industry a little over a decade ago.
Being Sarkodie’s official DJ comes with loads of responsibilities as you take charge of the BET Award winning rapper’s stage performance control. Most importantly DJ Mensah directs Sarkodie’s sound whenever he goes on stage.
But his loyalty to the rapper has been super remarkable, having worked with a popular Ghanaian star for close to a decade now.
According to DJ Mensah, working with Sarkodie, he thought he was going to miss the bigger opportunity to perform at the big event centers across the world. But working with him has even opened wider opportunities for him as a DJ.
” I was praying to do the 02, Madison Square Gardens, all these big places. Working with Sarkodie, I thought I was gonna lose that but I realize he’s rather taking me on the road as we do big arenas…”. He told NYDJ.
However, on DJ Mensah’s birthday, Sarkodie gave him that amazing celebration he was looking out for from his boss.
