Porto defender Eder Militao, who was linked with Juventus, will officially join Real Madrid this summer.
A statement on Madrid’s official website confirms Militao has signed a contract with the club until 2025.
The 21-year-old only moved to Porto from Sao Paulo last summer but has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, which saw him also make his senior debut for Brazil.
Juve had been linked with the stopper as an alternative to Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt , as were Manchester United.
Los Blancos are understood to have paid Militao’s €50m release clause as he becomes Zinedine Zidane’s first signing since returning to the Santiago Bernabeu.
