The Communications Officer of the New Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi is claiming that President Akufo-Addo has slept with half of his female appointees.
His comment comes as a response to ‘Papa No’ tag that has been around the neck of the flagbearer of the NDC, John Mahama.
The tag originated from a social media scuffle between Tracey Boakye and Mzbel which had the former referring to an anonymous man as ‘Papa No’ who apparently has ditched the latter for her.
As a result, the term ‘Papa No’ has metamorphosed from social media jargon to a political tool that is been used to facilitate propaganda and mischief among the two biggest political parties in Ghana.
In a tweet, Sammy Gyamfi, in responding to a comment made by the Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on the floor of parliament yesterday with the ‘Papa No’ term, he said the president has been stroking and caressing his female appointees and sleeping with them.
He supported his claim with a GIF which had President Akufo-Addo standing up from his seat with his hands going over the breast of a woman who was standing directly in front of him.
He tweeted:
Greetings to”PAPANO”, who is famed for groping women, has slept with more than half of his female appointees and has rewarded them with juicy appointments. Ayekoo! #KON-GAY@konkrumah
Sammy Gyamfi’s tweet also labelled Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as a homosexual, gay. This has generated a politically-induced argument on Twitter which is full of insults, tantrums and gimmicks.
Is this the democracy Ghana has decided to practise? A question for the gods.
