Jamaican Dancehall Star, Popcaan has responded to allegation made by Kwaw Kese about him smoking ‘wee’ in public as reported yesterday.
The Dancehall star wants a meeting between him, Kwaw Kese and the government to deliberate on how they can legalize the drug.
Replying to Kwaw Kese‘s post on instagram Friday, the Jamaican star confidently told Kwaw Kese “I’m not a foreigner”. “We all came from Africa, don’t be mad” as a way to be diplomatic with his approach.
He further advised the Ghanaian Rapper that the best way to solve this problem is to legalize it and therefore it is right to meet the government in order to deliberate on how to make it legal.
” let’s try to organize a meeting with the government to legalize weed it’s simple” Popcaan asserted.
Popcaan was in Ghana as part of the ‘Year of Return’ initiative instituted by the Ghana Government in remembrance of 400 years since the first African slaves reached the USA.
He visited a lot of tourist destinations in Ghana to reflect on the history of African slavery.
As a matter of fact, Popcaan was spotted smoking in-front of Ghanaian Police Officers which sparked outrage on social media since the act appears to be illegal in Ghana.
