Police arrest suspects of Ahmed Suale’s Murder

Sources at the Ghana Police Service have confirmed to MyNewsGh.com that one suspect has indeed been picked up and is in the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) for the murder of a member of Tiger Eye PI.

Police have declined giving further details of the suspect except to say he was seen around the scene of the crime in Madina several hours before the incident and went into hiding until he was arrested last week. Police tracked him down.

According to the police, they are still investigating his links to the crime and do not want to draw hasty conclusions as to whether he was indeed the person who pulled the trigger or not as claimed by Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye DC, Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Two persons were reported to have been arrested in connection with the murder of undercover journalist with Tiger Eye PI, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

The two were arrested in separate swoops. While one is still being held and interrogated by BNI officials, Kotobabi police are believed to have granted the other bail according to Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye DC.

He disclosed on NET 2 Television on Wednesday that one of the suspects is currently in the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations BNI while the other was released by the Kotobabi police after he managed to use money to influence his way.

“Are you aware that the police patrol team arrested one of the suspects in connection with the death of Ahmed Suale? When they took him to the Kotobabi police station he was released within 30 minutes in collusion with some officers. The one who pulled the trigger is currently in BNI cells. I am daring them to come out and deny it”, he revealed.
