Highlife Legend Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has attributed his succesful Music career to Businessman and CEO of Despite Group of Companies, Dr Osei Kwame Despite.
The Veteran Musician shared with viewers of United Showbiz, how his life changed completely when he received his first huge money in his career from Veteran Music Distributor and Businessman, Kwame Despite.
“I went to Okaishie to take my small balance from Accra Soundz to finish up my recording when I met Fadda Dickson. …he then introduced me to Bro. Despite who listened to my song “24th” and was impressed. He promised to help me and outrightly, he paid for my recordings and everything concerning the song” Kaakyire stated.
He continued that “He gave me 500,000 old Ghana cedis at the time, it was a very huge money for me I was so much happy”
Every great person once in his life struggled in one way or the other, and that is the same thing Kaakyire Kwame Appiah passed through. Starting as a Band boy during 1992, carrying speakers and other stuffs, to becoming a hitmaker with numerous songs to his credit.
