The Overlord of the GaDangme State, Gborbu Wulomo Shitse, has announced a one-week ban on drumming and noise-making in Nungua and its environs.

This forms part of activities to pave the way for the preparation of the annual Kplejo festival of the chiefs and people of Nungua in the Greater Accra Region.

Gborbu Wulomo Shitse has, therefore, urged the public, especially local churches, to judiciously observe the customs to avoid any confrontation with the traditional authorities.

Speaking to Class News, the Nungua Nkpor Mantse, Nii Borteyfio Bortekwei Afadi-Nsro said adherence to the ban will promote peace and unity among inhabitants of Nungua.
