Award winning Ghanaian Music Producer and Sound Engineer, Nacee has blasted UK Based-Ghanaian Music Promoter, Alordia for his recent comment.

Alordia speaking on Onua FM’s ‘Anigye Mmer3’ with Christian Agyei Frimpong revealed that Joe Mettle is the only Gospel Artiste in Ghana making it globally.

He stressed that the Gospel Musicians must beef up their game in order get international attention.

However, Nacee who was on the show replied to Alordia saying he should be ashamed of himself for making those assertion.

We respect Alordia so much as someone who has achieved a lot in the industry, but he should be ashamed of himself for making those comment. How many Gospel Musicians has Alordia pushed in the UK. He has a lot of influence in the UK and he does not do anything for Gospel Musicians, so he should say that” Nacee stated.

How it all Started

Alordia was explaining how he thinks about the Gospel Industry and the need for Gospel musicians to up their game, as he disclosed in his comment that Ghanaian Gospel Music “don’t come across at all” in the international front, especially in the UK.

He, therefore, went on to rate Gospel Industry 40%, 50% and stressed “they are not doing well”, during an interview with Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM.

He further explained that the quality of Ghanaian Gospel Music and Ghanaian language are factors that is limiting the growth of our music from getting international attention.

However, in his comment he praised Joe Mettle for being the only Artist doing the right thing and getting the right feedback from international audience.

He explained that there is the need for musicians to incorporate English and Pidgin into the lyrics which will bridge the language gab to help Ghanaian music to be accepted internationally.
