Sister Derby’s relationship life after breaking up with Medikal has seen a rollercoaster ride and she is now letting the cat out of the box.
The 35-year-old model turn singer, in a recent interview talking about marriage and settling down, disclosed that she secretly dated someone after Medikal but after 6 months of being with the person, that relationship also broke down.
Speaking on “Vibes In Five”, a youtube talk show hosted by Arnold Elanyoh Mensah, the singer stated that “The last serious one was with Medikal, I have had a relationship sort of after that”. When asked if she made it public, she replied “hell no”.
Explaining why she kept it away from the public, Sister Derby stated that “I knew it wasn’t going anywhere, I didn’t want to spoil my market”. According to the singer, who has a new song out now, titled ‘somebody’, the decision to never give her new relationship public attention has nothing to do with her experience with Medikal.
“It’s not because of past experience, it’s because we both decided we didn’t need it out there … we more like talking”.She continued that “he did it want it out there and I didn’t care” As for who this mystery person could be, Derby said, “he is not really an industry person, he is not out there out there”.
Talking about marriage, Sister Derby who dated Medikal for over two years before their relationship ended, which saw the rapper starting a new relationship with Fella Makafui, said she is not under any pressure to settle down because her family does not press her to do so.
