Meet the NSMQ 2020 Stars; with their Wassce results

The National Science and Maths quiz (NSMQ) is an annual Science and Maths festival produced by Primetime Production to help promote the study of Maths and Science in Ghana.

The program has been in existence since 1994 till date. This year the Presbyterian boys Senior high School (PRESEC) won their sixth trophy making them the undisputed kings of the program.

Daniel Gakpetor Kekeli and Benjamin Quansah Nketsiah represented their school, PRESEC. After the contest they were crowned as victors as Daniel emerged as the overall best contestant winning a scholarship prize of $40,000 from Academic City University.

h, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the results for the 2020 WASSCE examination. Daniel’s results has been trending on social media as he had all A’s.

Also, popular Opoku Ware contestant who emerged as a second runner-up also had 8A’s. Noble Asamoah’s results was circulating over the internet 8 A’s.

Wilfred Obeng, a student of Kumasi Anglican Senior high School (KASS) who also contested for his school in 2019, wrote a private WASSCE exams when he was in his second year in Senior high School (SHS).

After his results dropped few days ago, his family was amazed to see their son getting all 8 A’s in his exams.

Meanwhile, not only these brilliant male students from the competition were the only people who excelled in the WASSCE exams. Two female students from Achimota Senior high School and St. Louis Senior high School namely; Akomprah Mercy Nana Ama and Appiah-Agyei Vicentia also made females over social media proud by getting all 8 A’s in their exams.
