As a measure of reducing the spread of the world’s pandemic virus in Ghana, President Akufo-Addo instituted a lockdown in some major cities in the country.
Major Cities including Accra, Tema and Kumasi were announced by the President on 27th March to resume lockdown in 30th March to 13th April (2 weeks) which is subject to review.
Early Monday morning some busy roads in the city of Kumasi were captured almost empty and silent.
As at Monday 30th 11:00am Ghana had record 152 cases, 5 deaths and 2 recoveries.
Even though it’s not a total lockdown as President gave exemptions of how can go out, pictures prove that the people in kumasi are responding to directives.
