The 25-year-old joins from fellow Premier League side Newcastle United and has put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at King Power Stadium to become the Foxes’ second signing of the summer, after the addition of James Justin from Luton Town.
Pérez, who has scored the winning goal on each of his previous two visits to King Power Stadium, spent the last five seasons on Tyneside and enjoyed his best Premier League campaign to-date in 2018/19, when he found the net 12 times.
Three times a winner of Newcastle’s Goal of the Season Award, Perez is one of the Premier League’s most exciting talents, with pace, trickery and an eye for goal that will add plenty to City’s attacking ranks ahead of their top-flight opener at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday 11 August.
Speaking to LCFC TV, Pérez said: “I’m very happy and very pleased. I’m very proud to be part of the Leicester family and I can’t wait to get started.
