The last words of popular Kumawood actor Bernard Nyarko aka Bishop came to pass last Saturday during his burial and final funeral rites.

After the actor passed on some months ago, a video surfaced on social media where the actor during his time in a church asked that people celebrate and acknowledge him now that he is alive and not when he is dead.

This wasn’t the only thing that the late actor said as he added that the industry was full of evil people hence his decision to quit acting to became a full-time preacher.

Last Saturday during his funeral, the Kumawood movie industry gave him a posthumous award for his service in the movie industry.

He was awarded an ‘extraordinary award’ which was presented by the industry-led by movie director and producer Miracle Films.

The award which was received by the late actor’s senior brother raised concerns on social media with the majority of people bashing them for that.

According to them, the gesture showed by the movie industry goes a very long way to confirm that indeed Ghanaians love the dead more than the living.

Some on the other part stated that the fact that the late actor last words before his sudden demise was to be celebrated before he dies should have even warned them not to go ahead and present an award to him.
