Head Coach of the Senior National Team – the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah has been fired by the Ghana Football Association(GFA), thursday.

This comes after the GFA released an official statement to dissolve the technical teams of all National Teams with immediate effect.

” The decision affects both male and female national teams”. As the statement reads ” The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football.”

Kwesi Appiah, whose contract has officially ended after signing a 2- year contract with the Black Stars, was the first Black Coach to take the team to the FIFA World Cup in 2014. He took over from Former Chelsea Manager, Avram Grant in April, 2017.
