Kwame Nkrumah neglected Art & Music – Bulldog reveals why Ghana Music is still struggling

Artist Manager and Music Executive, Bulldog has said Ghana’s first President, Nkrumah should be blame for the downfall of the music industry.

He disclosed that Nkrumah was more focused on other projects which eventually made him neglect arts and music. He said they failed to put structure and systems into place.

Speaking on ‘United Showbiz‘ with Nana Ama Mcbrown, the Artist Manager, now steering the Affairs of Dancehall Artist Shatta Wale argued that Nkrumah and some of these leaders took Artist as concert boys and failed to create systems to help them.

Well, this conversation came as a result of many veteran creative artists now struggling due to the fact that the right systems were not put in place at the early stages of their careers. Veteran Artist such as Emmanuel Armah, C.K Mann, Kwaku Twumasi and the likes are now suffering from Stroke, and other killer diseases in their older ages, and now dependent on donations from love ones.

However, Bulldog said they should have now depended on royalties if there was one.
