Kwahu Easter suspended over Coronavirus

Kwahu Easter festivities have been suspended over coronavirus outbreak.

A statement from the Kwahu Traditional council as sent to vibeweek.com confirms this, following the Government ban on activities that involves groups of people, across the country.

Ghana confirmed its first coronavirus on Thursday, as 2 people were confirmed to have contracted the deadly pandemic. 4 other people have also been confirmed to have been infected by Covid-19.

However, the annual Kwahu Easter activities has been called off.

“The annual Kwahu Easter and all activities associated with it have been called off” the statement said.

Events such as Funerals have also been called off according to the statement issued by the Kwahu Traditional council.
