Notorious Asante Kotoko’s supporter, Seidu Mba, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the kidnapping of the Canadian ladies.
Seidu is alleged to be one of the main men who led some gangs to Kidnap the Canadian citizens in Kumasi.
He is on record to have engaged in many nefarious activities in the Ashanti Regiion including the has also various stadiums and even chased away former Kotoko coach Zravdko Lugarusic from the club’s training grounds.
He who was alleged to be part of the Delta Force squad that stormed the Kumasi High Court to manhandled a judge and free their members.
According to the Police statement, they are going to meet the press later in the day.
“Details of the operation and ongoing efforts to ensure that similar incidents are successfully resolved will be made available in a subsequent press briefing scheduled for 15:00 hours today, ” the statement said.
“Government continues to encourage the media and commentators to be circumspect in public commentary on security matters in order not to compromise other related operations.
Citizens and travellers are once again assured that Ghana remains safe,” it added.
