Kobe Bryant’s oldest Sister gets Tattoo to honor him and Gianna (Photo)

Kobe Bryant’s sisters haven’t really made too many public comments on the death of their younger brother.

As the family continues to mourn in privacy, some of them have taken to social media to simply express some of the pain they’re feeling.

One of Bryant’s sisters, Sharia Washington, has decided to pay tribute to her late brother and niece, Gianna, by getting a black mamba shaped like the symbol for infinite, with their numbers (2 and 24) tattooed onto her left shoulder blade.

Bryant’s widow Vanessa Bryant reposted the image of Sharia’s tattoo. “Love you @shariawash #Gigi #Kobe 2~24 forever,” Vanessa captioned the pic.

Washington is not the first person close to Bryant to get a tattoo as a tribute to the NBA legend’s life. Days after Bryant was killed Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis were seen with new tattoos on their thighs.

Washington and Bryant’s other sister, Shaya Tabb, have largely avoided public statements and appearances since his death but said on January 31 that they were “devastated” by his death.

Neither sister made any comments at the memorial service this past Monday. While the tattoo is a great gesture, we couldn’t imagine the pain they are going through right now.
