The C.E.O of Advocate Ghana Made and Anti-corruption campaigner Mr. Amankwaa Nathaniel has cautioned politicians to be serious when it comes to security issues with it citizens.
This comments came after the arrest of the alleged kidnappers involved in the Canadian kidnapping case which took place in Kumasi.
Speaking to the media, He was shocked to observe politicians of NPP and NDC party having interest in politicising the identity of one alleged kidnapper Seidu MBA rather than condemning the act and finding the solutions to protect citizens. He said the country will be in a mess if politicians politicise crime, because it encourages criminals.
He continued that this kidnapping issues has let him learnt politicians love to protect their political party than the people who make the party.
He also advised the information minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to be factual because he stated in his press statement the alleged kidnappers never demanded a ransome from the victims but that statement turn to be lies when they appeared before the court.
He stressed that, the government and the security institutions should try and rescue the kidnapped Takoradi girls as they did to the Canadian girls a took glory for doing that job alone without any foreign assistance.
