Information Minister warns ‘Chop Bars’, ‘Momo’ Agents and more to deny services to persons without nose masks

Minister of Information,Hon.Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has given strick instruction to various companies and institutions in Ghana to avoid services to persons who refuses to wear nose masks.

The minister earlier threaten that if Ghanaians refuse to abide the president’s measure to combat the coronavirus,a total lock down and curfew will be their portion.

In an interview with Johnnie Hughes of TV3, Mr.Oppong Nkrumah made this known. He added that wearing of nose mask should be made compulsory just as the president stated in his 7th nation address speech last Sunday.

“If you are running an organization, like TV3,…not only are you taking people’s temperature and wash their hands, you are going to insist that if you are not wearing a mask, you are not coming into our premises,” he said.
“Even if one person is recalcitrant, he puts all of us at risk, so it is our collective responsibility to be our brother’s keeper,” he pointed out.

By way of updates, cases of coronavirus in Ghana has jumped from 1042 to 1154 cases with 120 recoveries according to Ghana health service as of April 22,2020. Four persons are said to be in a critical condition.
