I will pay anything to get Pappy Kojo back home – Sarkodie

06/04/2020

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has disclosed the risk and the health condition of his friend and colleague Pappy Kojo who’s stuck in Italy.

We can recall that Pappy Kojo called on the government to fly him back home after Italy recorded a rise in their Coronavirus cases. Apparently, the artist was in Italy before the outbreak of the COVID-19. He plead with the government to get him back home with a private jet but his request was not granted.

“ I’m not safe, I live just across a busy street and people keep using that road every minute which is not safe for me, I’ve been calling out to the government [President Akufo-Addo and his ministers] yet no response, I’m a Ghanaian and I’ve done a lot for this country in terms of creative arts.

“The Ghanaian Embassy in Italy recently reached out to inform me about the death of some two Ghanaians residing in Italy which I told them I’ve heard the news.

“Sincerely I’m not safe, I have something to feed on now but I’m afraid I might soon run out of food.” Pappy Kojo revealed his fears to MzGee in an interview.

However, in a recent tweet by the rapper Sarkodie, he showed his concern over the health of his colleague. According to him, he will pay anything to get Pappy Kojo back to the country to ensure his safety.

He tweeted….
“I’m also locked up out here but I will pay anything to get @PAPPYKOJO back home…. he’s not well”
