Multiple Award-winning raggae dancehall artiste, Livingstone Satakle popularly known as Stonebwoy has credited his colleague and mentor, Samini for his success in the music industry.
Speaking to Nana Ama Mcbrown on the United Showbiz show on UTV, Stonebwoy revealed that it was through Samini that he (Stonebwoy) has become a household name in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
The BET award winner stated that;
“I will forever be grateful to Samini for bringing me this far. Samini gave me his platform and stage to market myself as a dancehall artiste…..anytime I talk to him on phone, I let him know how grateful I am for opening that door for me.”
Stonebwoy went ahead to advice his colleagues to always remember where they came from because no matter how much money they make currently, there is no way they could have gotten to where they have reached now without the help of others.
“I always say this,..as an artiste, you will always need the help of someone to get to where ever you are going…I have always treated my colleagues in the industry with respect and that has contributed to my success.” Stonebwoy reiterated.
