The General Secretary of the Opposition NDC, Asiedu Nketiah has said the Late Sir John was one of his closest friends in the ruling NPP.
Sir John was confirmed dead on Wednesday evening, after a short illness.
However, speaking with Asiedu Nketiah on the sudden death of his political rival, he disclosed Sir John has been his friend for more than 20 years.
In a playful manner to stressed he had a very close relationship with the fallen NPP Guru, he confirmed he once gave Sir John a number of blocks for the construction of his house.
