I got married because I needed love but not a child- Nana Ama Mcbrown

14/08/2020

Celebrated Actress cum Television Presenter, Nana Ama Mcbrown has disclosed the real reasons why she got into marriage even though she was ageing and had to settle down.

The actress, in recent times, has been spilling out her secrets about her married life in the open unlike then where even on interviews she finds her own way to rubbish question that demands her to talk about her love life.

In a special appearance on Life Tales, a Cookie Tee programme aired on GhOne TV, the veteran movie star revealed that though it was far past the normal time for her to marry, she needed to take time about it.

Mcbrown stated that she married for a purpose and that is she wanted to find someone who could actually love her for who she was.

Knowing her flaws as a human being she needed that one faithful person who could love her regardless.

Notwithstanding, the first primary concern of a fair number of Ghanaian women in marriage is to procreate, and it’s the joy of every woman I can say.

But in the case of Mcbrown, it was different.

According to her, children were not her primary concern for heading into marriage, unlike others. She needed love first and nothing else mattered the most than that to her.

“The overall purpose for me getting into the marriage was to find somebody to love me…

When you are going through situations like that and you have somebody who loves you, it gives you the hope that it will happen for you one day”. She said.
