Controversial Politican and Socialite, A Plus has expressed his opinion on the VGMA Ban on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

VGMA has placed restrictions on Dancehall Artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. This comes after Stonebwoy Pulled up a gun on Shatta Wale at the event last year.

Stonebwoy pulled up a gun during his acceptance ceremony as Shatta Wale was heading towards the stage. According to Shatta Wale, he was only heading on stage to congratulate his then rival, Stonebwoy. Stonebwoy who feared for his life due to his intense rivalry with Shatta wale pulled up a gun amidst all his entourage’s protection.

However, the incident turned the whole event upside down. Patrons were left stranded during the middle of the show as to whether they should stay or leave the premises. This caused a stampede at the gate where some people sustained levels of injuries.

Charterhouse came out to apologize and further placed an indefinite ban on the two artiste.

Meanwhile, Kwame A plus says he does not agree with Charterhouse and the VGMA Board’s decision to ban two of the biggest Artistes in Ghana.

Speaking on United Showbiz on UTV, the controversial Politician argued that if the Government did not ban them from holding events in Ghana, then they should not ban anyone from the event.

“I do not agree with Charterhouse. They shouldn’t ban anyone because the Government di not ban them. So they have no right to ban Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy” A plus asserted.

He continued that “You were suppose to tighting you security, you did not, and this happened, and now you are putting the blame on an artist.”.
