I didn’t say I’m the Best Rapper – M.anifest clarifies

04/01/2020

Indigenous Ghanaian Rapper, M.anifest has clarified a statement he made two years ago that he is the best rapper in Ghana.

In 2017, Manifest came out confidently to refer to himself as the Best Rapper in Ghana, according to reports by Ghanaweb, during an interview on Atinka FM’s Akwaaba Talk Show hosted by Candyman.

In the interview Manifest stated he has no competitor in the Rap game in Ghana and therefore he “keeps getting better”.

However, two years down the line, the ‘Tomorrow’ rapper has come back to clarify that he did not state categorically that he is the best rapper in Ghana.

On ‘Hall of fame’ on Citi TV, M.anifest argued that his impact to people who listen to his music is what is important to him and these are the people eho can make this assertion.

Music Listeners in Ghana, over the years, have had mixed reactions as to who really leads the rap game in the country between M.anifest and Sarkodie.

Eventhough, Sarkodie has won the Best Rapper in Ghana for more than once, , if the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is used as our benchmark, as compared to Manifest who has won it once, but M.anifest does not believe this should be a conversation to start.
